The 1899 and 1903 Fanny Cochrane Smith Tasmanian Aboriginal recordings are inducted into the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Register in February.
They join previous NFSA nominees The Story of the Kelly Gang (1906) and the Cinesound Movietone Australian Newsreel Collection (1929-1975) in the register.
