NFSA restores: Shame

The NFSA restoration of Shame premieres at the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival with director Steve Jodrell and stars Deborra-lee Furness and Simone Buchanan in attendance.

Deborra-lee Furness comments, ‘I am thrilled that Shame has been restored so that this beautifully crafted film will continue to have an audience’.

Other NFSA Restores titles screening in 2017 include: features The Year My Voice Broke (1987), Flirting (1991), Celia (1989), Sons of Matthew (1949), Three Days to Live (1924) and The Odd Angry Shot (1979), and documentaries For Love or Money (1983), My Survival as an Aboriginal (1978) and Rocking the Foundations (1985).
