Colin Pitson

On 22 May 1984, Colin Pitson is appointed Interim Director of the NFSA pending the formal creation of the Director’s position in November 1984.

He then becomes Acting Director, overseeing the setting up of a Board of Management, a new staffing structure, significantly increased budget and finding and moving into a permanent home for the NFSA.

Pitson remains as Director until he leaves the NFSA in June 1985.
