With the departure of Jan Müller in December 2020, the NFSA announces the appointment of Patrick McIntyre as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Patrick McIntyre has more than 20 years’ experience in the arts and cultural sector. He has led the Sydney Theatre Company as Executive Director since 2010, and previously held executive roles with the Australian Ballet and Sydney Film Festival, in addition to senior marketing roles with the Sydney Dance Company and the Sydney Opera House Trust.
A graduate from the University of Technology Sydney (BA in Communications), Patrick McIntyre is a member of the national industry peak body Live Performance Australia Executive Council. He has served on the board of SCOPE for Artists and was a member of the New South Wales Creative Industries Task Force.
