Crowdfunding helps restore Proof

The NFSA uses crowdfunding to help restore the Australian feature film, Proof (1991). The campaign commenced on 17th May with a target of $25,000. By the end, 30th June, the public had contributed over $26,000.

The newly restored Proof premieres at the Melbourne International Film Festival on 29th June. NFSA Ambassador, film critic and media personality, Margarent Pomeranz, hosts a Q&A with director Jocelyn Moorhouse, actor Hugo Weaving and Michael Loebenstein, CEO of the National Film and Sound Archive.

Proof then screens in Sydney (10th November) and Canberra (2 December), helping to raise funds for further NFSA Restores projects.
